Experience:
Experienced joiner with knowledge of various joinery and carpentry techniques with 3-4
years current practice.
● Significant experience working in a joinery practice making high end furniture
● Be able to prove your competency in a variety of tasks.
Essential:
Fluent in English (speaking/reading & writing)
● Workshop and furniture making experience
● Attention to detail
● Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
● Assist with daily duties
● Able to work weekends or late nights for event prep
● Working to exceed strict deadlines
● Timekeeping/Punctuality
● Confident Team Leader
● Professional etiquette
● Bespoke design technical skills
● Licence/Certification: Driving License (preferable)
● 1st Aid valid certificate (desirable)
● Previous training certificate
Responsibilities:
Reporting to NDRJ Company Owner
● Assisting on production of products
● Designing processes to deliver NDRJ products on time
● To supervise and trade develop 1 Apprentice
● Working efficiently and to high quality requirements expected of the NDRJ brand
Qualifications:
Previous education qualifications (desirable but not essentials)
● Furniture Portfolio to present
● Previous experience of working for a fast paced creative company
Job Type / Category:
- Flexible hours per week
- Between 8am-5pm
- £ 20.00 per hour depending on experience
- 25 days holiday including bank holidays
- Job Type: Part-Time with the view to go Full-Time
