Workshops for creative businesses
Creative People and Places are running a series of business development workshops in February and March for artists and creative sector companies.
All of these sessions are free and take place online from 7.30pm – 9pm
- 9 February: Know your worth and have the confidence to ask for it
- 23 February: Securing relationships with new clients and corporates
- 9 March: Develop the tools to build mutually beneficial relationships

Cidori in partnership with O’Neill & Brennan and Wates are running a free 3 week on-line construction course.
Applicants who complete the course will be guaranteed a first stage interview with O’Neill & Brennan.
Applicants can also sit the test for the CSCS card and if successful obtain a 5 year CSCS card. For further information click here

Targeted support for residents who have lost their jobs due to COVID-19 More than £12 million has been made available through the Job Entry Targeted Support (JETS) programme to help people to find work and to develop new skills and retrain to improve their chances of securing alternative employment. The scheme is designed to help people who have been unemployed and in receipt of benefits for at least 13 weeks. Employment advisers will support individuals for up to six months and candidates will have access to online courses, training and information on suitable vacancies. Find out more here.
