About this Role
‘You’ll be part of a high-performing team but will also need to be able to work equally well on your own initiative. You will have previous administrative experience in a conference and events role, with experience in using the Cvent events management and survey platforms (or similar). As we continue with our virtual events you will be adept at using virtual meeting software (such as Zoom Meeting and Webinar) in addition to MS office programmes. You will have well developed interpersonal skills with a calm, assertive, persuasive and professional approach. This is a busy department, and meticulous attention to detail is essential along with the ability to be highly organised and accurate in your work.’
The Coming Year
‘We have an exciting events schedule for the coming year, with many webinars taking place outside normal office hours, and you will be part of the team responsible for producing these events. Once face-to-face events resume you will also find yourself travelling throughout the UK, and occasionally overseas; you could be away from home for short periods, including some weekends. However, for now, no external travel is currently required.’
